La Casa de Marita

Containing a delightful collection of rooms and suites, this little hotel fronts a beautiful crescent-shaped beach, a few blocks from the heart of downtown Puerto Villamil. Rooms vary in size and design, but all show the owner’s attention to detail and style. The best room in the house is the large Mango Suite, with a private ocean-view terrace. But some prefer the Green House, a separate little two-story cottage right on the beach, with a full kitchen and living area downstairs, and a bedroom upstairs. Quite a few of the rooms have two twin beds, so be sure to specify if you want a queen or king. The third-floor dining room of the main house features modern glass-topped tables and a great view of the ocean.
